At Home
A Corner Beats a Home Gym.
The equipment people keep using is almost always the equipment that stays within reach.
Most home setups fail from ambition, not from lack of kit. A small, visible, easy-to-start corner is used far more than a spare room full of equipment.

Start with one goal
Pick the single thing you want to change — sitting more comfortably, moving more easily in the morning, recovering after sport. One goal makes the shopping list short and the habit realistic.
Keep it where you will use it
Equipment in a cupboard is equipment you have stopped using. A mat left out and a roller beside the sofa get picked up; the same items in a box upstairs do not.
Build up slowly
Start at the shortest time and lowest setting the instructions allow. Doing a little every day works better than doing a lot once and then stopping because it hurt.
Where to look
- Home therapy equipment — for a fixed spot you return to.
- Massage and recovery tools — for after activity.
- Pillows, posture and ergonomics — for sitting and sleeping.
- Hot and cold therapy — simple and easy to keep to hand.
This is general guidance about setting up a space, not advice about you. If you are unsure whether something suits your situation, ask a qualified professional before buying.
